Lacey walked up to her. "Hey Emma" she said. she had paied and was about to go, but she though she would come and say hi first.

Sam Parker walked into the riding store, and picked up the pair of tall boots he had ordered. He also grabbed a few pairs of breeches and a pair of leather gloves. As Sam headed for the cashier, he saw a pair of really hot girls standing by the cashier. Sam ducked behind a boot display and looked at his reflection in the mirror; good to go. Sam grabbed his stuff and headed to the cashier. The girls were talking, so he just leaned against the counter as he waited. He smiled at one of the girls and then examined the label on his gloves. He checked the price tags on his items , and pulled out his check book. He quickly filled out the check and put his wallet back in his pocket.

Sam turned and looked Emma straight in the eye. He would really like to know her name. They were both really pretty, and he liked them a whole bunch.

Sam restrained from saying anything, though he was getting frustrated. His face was impassive, and he showed no anger, only curiosity. He was going to the movies-ALONE-in half an hour. He needed to hurry.

"English." she replied " i do a bunch of different things, its kinda hard for me to keep up with all my horses though, but i couldn't bring myself to selling them..I have gotten so attached to the ones i have now. I just need help with riding them,," she replied laughing a bit at the end.

Sam laughed with her. I see what you mean, he said. Chief is only one of the many horses I used to have. My parents made me sell the others. Chief is one special horse, and I couldn't lose him, Sam said. I have a bond with him. Where one goes, the other follows I guess. Sam laughed, but it was a strange laugh, hollow almost.

Lacey didn't seem to notice something strang about his laugh. She really kinda liked him. She wonderd if Emma did too. "How old is chief?" she asked.
