Aspen pranced beneath her as Casey mounted her. Her horse wastn't trained yet, and her parents had said that she had to train her herself, because they couldn't afford a trainer. But that wasn't a problem. She could handle Aspen. "Come on, girl. Let's start with a walk." But Aspen didn't want to walk, so instead, she shot forward at a trot. "Hoa! Walk." She said, irratated. Finally, Aspen calmed down enough to walk. This could take a while. Her horse was so green... She walked around a bit, turning in circles, switching directions frequently to keep Aspen interested and paying attention. Then she urged Aspen into a trot, and she responed immediately, her transition smooth. She trotted for a while, doing voltes in the corners. When she dismounted, she patted Aspen, and thought: that if they continued like this, she would be trained faster than Casey thought.
