(First part with Kelsie in the hospital)
~~~~~~ 2weeks later
Dana was in the hospital with Kelsie but she left. She rushed over (safely) to check on Dia.
"Is she OK?"Dana asked nervously.
"Dia?" The vet asked back.
"Yes, Is she OK?"
"Well..."The vet replied nervously."She has a few breaths left... She took a hard fall, a shattered leg. She will go lame in a couple of days."
Dana stared at The vet and then sat down in the waiting room and cried. Dana told them not to put her to sleep yet. She went to the hospital and told Kelsie, Kelsie came and went to see Dia. After seeing Dia Kelsie knew what she had to do... she had to put her to sleep.
After talking to the vet she agreed to put her to sleep. Dana and Kelsie went to the back to see Dia before they left Dia Forever. Kelsie stroked her nose and ran her hand down her neck and kissed her nose. Then she left, crying. Dana drove home to their home. Kelsie looked out her window at the pasture where Dia would be, and cried the most she'd ever cried.
