I feel only misery for myself when I look through the eyes of someone else.

MOVIE REVIEW BY BLUEDUN: #2 ----- Movie: The Neverending Story Actors: Barret Oliver, Noah Hathaway, Tami Stronach, Thomas Hill Bastian (Barret Oliver) is a young boy who lives a dreary life being tormented by school bullies. On one such occasion he escapes into a book shop where the old proprieter (Thomas Hill) reveals an ancient story-book to him, which he is warned can be dangerous. Shortly after, he "borrows" the book and begins to read it in the school attic where he is drawn into the mythical land of Fantasia, which desperately needs a hero to save it from destruction, the reason being the Empress (Tami Stronach) is deathly ill. The "Hero" chosen is a young warrior boy named Atreyu (Noah Hathaway). Drawn into young Atreyu's quest as with no other book, Bastian discovers astonished that the Fantasians hear him scream and see him in mirrors. Where is Fantasia, and where is he? Can Atreyu save Fantasia, or is the empress really summoning Bastian himself? ----- ooh, now this is a good 80's movie. sure, Noah Hathaway nearly died while filming the movie, the graphics are really bad, and the Empress was 11 when the film was shot, but it DEFINITELY worth it. ----- Interested and want more info?
