Bryant tosses and turns in bed, worried. He wonders if he could ever get up the courage to ask Ms. Elisha Heartilly to be his wife and become Mrs. Elisha Heartilly McCesar. The parents have been talked to, the go ahead has been given, the ring bought, and the perfect occasion set. Now, though, Bryant is having doubts. "We've been living together for 11 months now," Bryant says to himself, "but we've been hardly able to see each other- me racing Goldarado all over the world, and her teaching at Chestnut Hill Equestrian and participating in trail rides... oftentimes this house has been abandoned for a month or two straight. We haven't seen each other a whole lot and we've only gone to the bar and shared a Strawberry ginger ale one or two times... I wonder if she'd accept me at the bar, let alone the fancy restaurant We're going to tomorrow night. I guess I'll practice the proposal until Willlowby gets home." Jumping out of bed, Bri snatches the small diamond ring in a velvet box with the message "Yours Forever, Us together, riding into the sunset on the backs of our horses" carved out of the inside of the ring, gets down on one knee on the soft carpet, opens the ring box, and asks the night, "Willowby, will you be my wife?" He repeats opening the box and saying the phrase until he hears the door open downstairs. Bri rushes to get the box back in the drawer and slip quietly into bed. Just a couple of minutes after he does, Willowby walks in to give him his nightly kiss. "Goodnight Bryant," she whispers in his ear, "Don't forget our dinner date on Thursday. I won't forget if you won't." Bryant then whispers back through the darkness, "I definitely won't forget," nearly scaring Elisha out of her wits. "Goodnight, Willowby." "Goodnight, Bryant, you sneak." Elisha answers, and smiles. During that moment, Bryant inwardly makes his decision- he will Marry Elisha, and he will not hesitate to do so.

Bryant McCesar and Elisha Heartilly walk into T.J. Bummer's arm in arm, and are noticed by a waitress, who immediately leads them to a table for two. For a few minutes, there is silence, then Willowby breaks it. "It feels so good to have a night together alone, Bryant, in our hometown, where everybody knows us, but not for what we have done. Thank you. " "Oh, no problem. I can't stand the Paparazzi following us around in New York anyway, and the news crews in Denver, too. They Irk me." "Drinks, You two?" The waitress asks. "Coca-cola or Pepsi?" Willowby questions first. "Pepsi." Bryant thinks for a moment, then answers, "Mountain Dew, please." Willowby does also, and replies, "Wild Cherry Pepsi." As the waitress scurries off to get their drinks, Bryant Starts up another conversation. "Willowby, What movie do you want to see tonight?" "Oh Bryant, that's nice of you to take me to a movie, too! But... there's one problem." Willowby stutters nervously. "What is it?" Bryant leans forward nervously. Willowby giggles and replies, "I thought you knew me! You should know what movie I want to see! Think: What do I have all over my floor?" "Comic books... So You wanna see Wolverine?" "Yes, Bri!" The two collapse in laughter, and are chatting happily when the waitress comes in again with their drinks. "One Mountain Dew for you sir, and you, ma'am, I believe, had the Wild Cherry Pepsi. Now, What do you want to eat tonight, you two?" Willowby starts, "Oh, the cheeseburger platter has always been my favorite. I think I'll have that." Bryant looks at the menu, and replies, "I think I'll have the Felony Reuben. I've always loved to try something new at every restaurant I go to." "One Cheeseburger platter and a Felony Reuben coming up." After a few more minutes of Comic book talk, Willowby suddenly pulls out of the blue, "Bryant, I've been thinking, you know, that someday... I want to start up a stable on my own... you know, on our property. What do you think of that?" "It's a perfect idea. but I have another Idea..." "What, Bri?" "Well... I have been thinking lately... that I want to form another team... of a different kind." "Yes?" This was the crucial moment. Bryant felt his heart thud in his chest like a big bass drum as he slid off the chair, pulled the velvet-boxed ring out of his back tuxedo pocket, got down on one knee, and asked his true love, "Willowby, Will you be my permanent partner- my wife?"
Willowby was shocked, and at first did not know what to say, but the man perched in front of her with a velvet- boxed ring in his hand did not encourage silence for long, and she found herself nestled deep in his arms, crying and whispering "Yes, Bryant... I'll be your wife."

"Let's Do that again," Calls the preacher, "just one more time." It is the day before Bryant McCesar and Elisha Heartilly's Wedding, and the wedding procession is practicing the entrance. Obeying the preacher, the tired Bridesmaids, best-men, and bride and groom line up to walk down the aisle again. The music starts, and the whole train begins walking down the aisle, remembering the timing that the preacher taught them. Once the whole 3-minute ordeal is over, and everyone is in their places, the minister stops the music and declares, "I think that should be enough for tonight. You are all dismissed." Bryant and Willowby change and meet outside, where Bryant's new Corvette is sitting, just waiting to whisk them home to get some sleep for the hectic day ahead of them.
The two wake up the next morning refreshed and excited. At the church, the two are whisked away separately, dressed, and prepped. Finally, at One o' Clock, the wedding starts. As the procession walks down the aisle, all colorful and pristine, Elisha beams. She has never been this happy in all her life. She has looked forward to this day for her whole life- and it has finally come. Three minutes pass, and when it is all over, the preacher speaks.
"Friends, we have come here today to celebrate love. We see it in the faces of Bryant McCesar and Elisha Heartilly, who stand before us, but we experience it in our own hearts as well. This love is powerful enough to untie the strong entangled knot of life. It is a love which is spoken of in all religions, which kindles our souls with hope and which is our true home, our true meeting place. Bryant and Elisha have opened their hearts to one another, and today in just a few moments will share their vows of marriage together. We are deeply grateful to them for opening their hearts to us as well, inviting us to witness and share in this precious moment. To this day they bring the fullness of their being as a treasure to share with one another. Their marriage is being entered into reverently, with the recognition of a true union which has been discovered. For what greater joy is there for two human souls than to join together to strengthen each other in all their endeavors, to support each other through all sorrow, and to share with each other in all gladness? We hope that the words and spirit of our gathering may be filled with a truth that will deepen with the passing years. We hope, too, that the meaning of the vows that Bryant and Elisha are about to share with one another will deepen as well, as they discover the endless possibilities of this life together. This is a love which need not be tarnished by common events, but which can flower both in deepest adversity and in greatest joy. As the years go by, you will find more and more in one another a loveliness which neither comes nor goes, which neither flowers nor fades, no longer even taking the form of face or hand or words or knowing. Everything in your marriage can partake of this mysterious beauty beyond beauty, until wherever you turn you see reflections of this loveliness. We ask that the vision you have of one another be always informed by that radiant power which first brought you together. Love is stronger than your conflicts, bigger than life's changes, the miracle always inviting you to learn, to blossom, to expand. It is to love that you must always return. Bryant Drew McCesar, do you take this woman to be your lawful wedded wife?" "I do," Bryant smiled. "Elisha Jane Heartilly, do you take this man to be your lawful wedded husband?" "I do." "You may now kiss the bride." There was cheering in the church sanctuary as the new pair kissed, ran back down the aisle, and hopped in Bryant's new Corvette to be whisked home to prepare for the amazing Australian honeymoon complete with safaris and tromps through the outback.
