Kylie led her horse into the neighboring equestrain center. The barn behind her house needed to be worked on, so for now, Skittles was boarding at Willow Creek. Kylie and Skittles proceeded into the stable. Immediatley, she was greeted by the manager. The manager smiled and introduced herself as Lucy Pinto. She showed Kylie where Skittles stall would be, then helped Kylie unload her things into her locker in the tack room. Kylie was pleased. She was nervous that since she was new and Willow Creek was a very prestigous riding school that people would be rude. Now Kylie knew that wasn't to be. As she walked around she was greeted by other riders and boarders. She smiled and new that Skittles would be happy here until Kylie could fix up the stable.

After two months, the stable in the back of Kylie's house was renovated and was safe for horses. Now Kylie could start her Arabian breeding program! Skittles settled down fine and seemed to like the huge blue-green pasture that was all his. He seemed a little aloof thoguh and Kylie knew why. He missed the little chestnut whom he had played with and had become close friends with back at Willow Creek.. Kylie went horse shopping to find Skittles a new friend and also to get started with her breeding program! She found a light flea-bitten grey mare. Immediatley, Skittles changed from his sulky mood to his usual self! Kylie smiled to herself as she watched Skittles show off for the mare. Hoku flirted right back at him, but eventually settled down to graze. Kylie decided to take Skittles on a trail ride to calm him down. Still though, she wished she could somehow buy the little chestnut and put him in the pasture next to Skittles so he could have someone to play with. Hmmm...
